Check-in is from 2:00pm on the day of arrival, Early check-in is subject to availability and incurs a €20 charge. If a guest expects to arrive after midnight, we would appreciate it if you could let our reception team know via phone on +3532585813
Check-out is 11:00am on the day of departure. Late check-out’s are subject to availability and incur a €20 per hour charge, up to a maximum of 2 hours. If you plan to avail of a Late check-out, please arrange with out reception team during your stay.
Yes, we can provide luggage storage before check-in or after check-out. This space is limited, therefore the service is available on a first-come-first-served basis and cannot be guaranteed.
Yes, complimentary WiFi is available throughout all public areas, within the B&B and also within all guest bedrooms.
At Birdies Townhouse, we operate a strict no-smoking policy throughout our entire property. A deep cleaning fee will charged to guests who are found to be in breach of our no-smoking policy.

Yes, cots can be provided, subject to availability. we would recommend guests request the use of a cost at the time of making their reservation to avoid disappointment. Camp beds can be requested for children at an additional charge.

At Birdies Townhouse we accept cash and card both contactless and chip and pin. We will require photographic ID upon check-in and a security deposit held for the duration of your stay.
No, we are not open to the public and all guests are required to have a pre-arranged booking before arrival and deposit paid. Subject to availability. Management reserve the right to refuse admission.
Guests are asked not to bring hazardous or illegal items such as Nitrous gas into our B&B, however where canisters are found in a bedroom following your stay a €100 fee will be charged to the lead bookers card for each canister so they can be appropriately and safely disposed. Same policy applies for any material removal or deep cleaning.
Yes, we partner with a local Laundrette who offer a laundry service. Please note that additional charges are applicable.
Please contact the B&B as soon as possible by phone on +3532585813 or email and provide details of the items left behind an dalso your reservation details (date you stayed, and the name the room was booked under). Please be advised we do not arrange for mailing of any items that are left behind. Items can be collected from the B&B or we can recommend a courier service.
No, pets are not allowed in the B&B, with the exception of guide and assistance animals.
Due to the historic age of our building we are built over three floors with internal stairs. However we can offer a ground floor room to suit your accessibility needs. There are no lifts at our property.
Yes, travel adapters can be purchased from the vending machines located to the rear of the property. all items within the vending machine are subject to availability.
Cork Airport is a 45 minute drive, traffic dependant, and airport transfer can be pre-booked with reception, fee’s are payable to local taxi.
Yes, we are located in the heart of Mitchelstown, within walking distance you have a range of services on your doorstep from Food, fashion, nightlife and bars. Fermoy, Cork City and Clonmel also offer great shopping Destinations.
Birdies Townhouse is centrally located in the heart of Mitchelstown with transport links at the Doorstep. We are located directly next to the Bus Eireann Route 245, and Localink stop.
On-site parking spaces are limited, and we advise guests to reserve parking with reception beforehand, We do provide Electric Car Charing on site for Guests at an additional charge. Parking is available on the Main Street also.
All of our bedrooms are equipped with a hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities, fridge, an iron and ironing board, Flatscreen TV, Rituals toiletries (Hand soap, Shower Gel, Shampoo & Conditioner) and complimentary WiFi. All rooms are en-suite with rainfall shower head, toilet, sinks and heated towel rail. Self controlled heating thermostat.
All reservations must be made by an adult over the age of 18. All under 18s must be accompanied by a guardian or parent.
Depending on your booking direct or Third party, refer to your reservation details. Some packages offer flexible cancellation policy’s.
If a guest makes a reservation and fails to show up and doesn’t cancel the reservation successfully then we will take payment for the reservation from the credit or debit card provided at the time of booking. If your booking is advance purchase, the total amount will be non-refundable.
As we cannot make any amendments or cancellations to bookings make via third-party websites, you will need to contact the customer service department of the third-party website. Please note that they have their own cancellation policies, so please refer to your confirmation email.
